This calculator answers one simple question: what date will it be a given number of days, weeks, months or years from today — or what date was it that long ago. Enter the number, choose the unit and the direction, and the result appears immediately with the day of the week, the day of the year and the ISO week number. The start date is today by default, taken from your own device, so the answer always matches your local calendar; you can also pick any other start date, for example a contract signing or a delivery date. Deadlines are counted in days far more often than people expect. In the EU you have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase; the Schengen rule allows 90 days in any 180-day period; notice periods, probation, warranty claims, visa validity and medical follow-ups are all expressed as "within N days". The calculator counts the way most deadlines do: the start date is day 0 and the next day is day 1, so 30 days from September 25 is October 25. Months are added by the calendar, and if the target month is shorter, the date moves to its last day. Tick "working days only" to skip Saturdays and Sundays.

What date is 30 days from today?
The calculator opens with 30 days already selected, so the answer is shown as soon as the page loads, together with the weekday. It is computed from the date on your device, so it is always today's answer, not the date the page was built.
Is the start date counted as day one?
No. The start date is day 0 and the following day is day 1. That is how most deadlines are counted: a period that starts on the 1st and lasts 10 days ends on the 11th.
How do I find a date in the past?
Switch the direction to "Before date". For example, 90 days before today gives the date three months ago — useful for checking the 90/180 Schengen rule or when a warranty started.
How are months added?
By the calendar, not as 30 days. One month after March 15 is April 15. If the target month has fewer days, the result moves to its last day: one month after January 31 is February 28, or February 29 in a leap year.
How does the working days option work?
With the box ticked, only Monday to Friday are counted, so 1 working day after a Friday is the following Monday. Public holidays differ by country and region, so they are not excluded — check your local calendar for holidays that fall inside the period.
Why is the number of calendar days different from what I entered?
When you add weeks, months, years or working days, the calendar length of the period varies. Three months can be 89, 90, 91 or 92 days depending on the months involved, and 10 working days usually span 14 calendar days.
What is the ISO week number?
It is the week numbering defined by ISO 8601 and used across Europe: weeks start on Monday, and week 1 is the one that contains the first Thursday of the year. Because of that, the last days of December can belong to week 1 of the next year, and early January to week 52 or 53.
What is the day of the year?
It is the sequential number of the date within its year: January 1 is day 1, December 31 is day 365, or day 366 in a leap year.
Can I use a start date other than today?
Yes. Pick any date in the start date field, and the Today button brings it back to the current date. The list of popular periods always counts from today.
Does the calculator account for time zones and daylight saving time?
It works with whole calendar days in your local time zone, so daylight saving changes do not shift the result by a day. The date is never converted to UTC, which is a common source of off-by-one errors in online date tools.
